I had to share this recipe with everyone, especially mums and dads who (like me) sometimes have a battle when it comes to getting little people to eat the good stuff.
Jamie's recipe is.....
1 Red Cabbage
2 Red Onions
2 Tablespoons of white wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon of berry Jam
Peel and thinly slice the onions and put into a large pan on a medium heat with a glug of oil. Cook for ten minutes or until soft, stirring occasionally.
Next add the Cabbage, Jam and Vinegar and mix it all up.
Cook with the lid ajar for about 20 minutes or until soft, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper.
And there you have it - Kiddie Friendly Cabbage.
(NB:- I added an extra table spoon of jam, this added extra sweetness.)
